Using Dwyer”s simple, frictionless Magnehelic gage movement, it quickly indicates low air or non-corrosive gas pressures–either positive, negative (vacuum) or differential. The design resists shock, vibration and over-pressures. No manometer fluid to evaporate, freeze or cause toxic or leveling problems. It”s inexpensive, too. The Magnehelic gage is the industry standard to measure fan and blower pressures, filter resistance, air velocity, furnace draft, pressure drop across orifice plates, liquid levels with bubbler systems and pressures in fluid amplifier or fluidic systems. The universal input reduces inventory while the micro-USB port facilitates easy configuration, and calibration in the lab or in the field. The versatile TBU model allows for selection and configuration of input type, measurement range, and calibration. A-396A Dwyer Calibration Pump Model A-396A Calibration Pump Generates up to 72 psig, Integral Bleed Fitting Serves as Pressure Source to calibrate Gages and Transmitters or to Set Pressure Switches. Use with Manometer or other Pressure Standard. Includes volume adjuster enabling fine pressure control and bleed valve. Generates pressures from a fraction of an inch w.c. to 72 psig (5 bar). Includes barbed fitting, tee connector and three 36″ lengths of vinyl tubing. Calibration Pump, serves as pressure source to calibrate gages and transmitters or to set pressure switches. Use with manometer or other pressure standard. Includes volume adjuster enabling fine pressure control and bleed valve. Caution:
Connect the Calibration Pump to both the Manometer (or other Pressure Standard of your choice) and the device to be calibrated, by means of atee connector as shown in Figure A. Low pressure tubing is provided. Tomaintain pressure integrity, the use of Teflon® tape to seal the pipethreads is recommended. Referring to Figure B, close the vent valve .Holding the pump body in one hand and grasping the pump tee handle in the other hand, gently pump until the desired pressure is obtained.Fine adjustment of the pressure can be achieved by turning the vernierknob clockwise to increase pressure and counter-clockwise Todecrease Pressure. If the desired calibration pressure is less than a fewinches of water column, use only the vernier knob to achieve thedesired calibration pressure. After the Calibration test is complete, openvent valve to Release the pressure. |
